 Steph and Dallin families over for the holidays.  

New England cruise. Sept 2024 with Sharon and Julie.

 Sharon, along with a friend, Julie and myself cruised from New York, to New Port, Boston, Bar Harbor and Halifax. 7 days on the Enchanted Princess cruise ship.  Very enjoyable time, thanks for Julie and Sharon for making this such a fun trip.

 Test drive with Honda Pilot.  Extra transmission cooler. Indash brake controller.  Andersen weight distribution hitch.  Rented 3000net pounds. 

Pilot wheel bearing replacement in Duchesne.

Cellulitis in leg.  2ER visits,  In home IV antibiotics for 7 days.

Moab w/YM

14 total going to Moab.  Eight young men from Deacon's teachers priest with 6 leaders. Rafting four times. Arches national Park twice. The best vacation in the last several years. See the video for details.

 

Velo Club bike ride.

 I've been riding with the club for a few times now.   Wow, they like to ride.  There are some sections where they like to ride fast.  I can NOT keep up majority of riders.  There are a few in the back with me.  Just some examples of the ride.   I'm the sweeper, there is no one behind me.

 March 09, 2024 7AM at Tibble Fork parking area. 14 degrees.  Tony, Ralph, Karl, Brandon and myself.  4 other people started out with us, we waited over 10 mins at the Holman cabin flat, 45min into the hike and did not see them. 

Kept the micro spikes on for another hour going up the gullies as the snow was crusted over.  As we stared breaking through the crust, the snow shoes where put on.  

The last part of the climb is the steepest.  I was probably 15mins behind to summit.  No winds, temp guessing around 30 degrees.  Returning back  looped around going down a different gully where the side were every steep and the gully had mini crevasses within. 

Legs were tired.  As least this year I summitted.  Prior years was not able to summit. 

Dad's 90th birthday party

Thank for all attending dads 90th birthday party.  This party is one I will always remember and I'm sure those that attended will all remember.  Love you guys.  

2024 snowshoe with Velo club

 Parking at Tibble Fork hiking up to Granite flats.  Not much snow, micro spikes for the first hr.  17 degrees.  Left with Ralph, the main group going up a different route.  Meet with then about the time to put the snowshoes on.  

Typically this route we would not take due to high avalanche dangers.  Has not snowed for over 2 weeks and is only a couple of feet on ground.  

After summitting over the divide by Box Elder, the snow on the North side was great.  Sure is fun going out with friends.
